Created by Sam Levinson and loosely based on an Israeli miniseries of the same name, Euphoria follows a group of high school students as they experience sex, drugs, love, identity, and relationships.

Zendaya stars as Rue Bennett, a recovering teenage drug addict who befriends Jules Vaugh (Hunter Schafer), a transgender girl who moves into town. The show also features Jacob Elordi as Nate Jacobs, the high school jock with anger issues, Alexa Demie, as Nate's on-again, off-again girlfriend Maddy, and Maude Apatow, Rue's childhood best friend.

Euphoria was renewed for a second season in 2019 and had two one-hour specials in December 2020 and January 2021 centered on Rue and Jules: "Trouble Don't Last Always" and "F--k Anyone Who's Not a Seablob."
