Peacock Horror Thriller Series Teacup Rounds Out Main Cast (EXCLUSIVE)

The upcoming Peacock horror thriller series “Teacup” has added five new series regulars, Variety has learned exclusively.
Kathy Baker (“Picket Fences,” “Edward Scissorhands”), Boris McGiver (“For Life,” “House of Cards”), Caleb Dolden (“The Requiem Boogie,” “Single Parents”), Emilie Bierre (“A Colony,” “The Guide to the Perfect Family”), and Luciano Leroux (“Yellowjackets,” “A Million Little Things”) have all joined the cast of the series.
They join previously announced cast members Yvonne Strahovski, Scott Speedman, and Chaske Spencer.
“Teacup” is inspired by the Robert McCammon novel “Stinger.” The official logline for the series states that it “follows a disparate group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive.”

As previously announced, Strahovski will play Maggie Chenoweth, while Speedman will play James Chenoweth. Spencer will play Ruben Shanley. Baker will appear in the role of Ellen Chenoweth. McGiver stars in the role of Donald Kelly. Dolden will play Arlo Chenoweth. Bierre will play the role of Meryl Chenoweth. Leroux will appear as Nicholas Shanley.
Baker is repped by Berwick & Kovacik and Paradigm. Boris McGiver is repped by Harden Curtis Kirsten Riley Agency. Dolden is repped by The Osbrink Agency and Complete Management Group. Bierre is repped by Thruline Entertainment. Leroux is repped by Avalon Artists Group and Entertainment Lab.
Ian McCulloch serves as writer and executive producer on “Teacup.” E.L. Katz will direct the first episode and executive produce. James Wan, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett all executive produce on behalf of Atomic Monster. Francisca X. Hu, Kevin Tancharoen, and McCammon all executive produce as well. Danielle Bozzone oversees for Atomic Monster. Strahovski will produce in addition to starring. UCP is the studio.
